Yolanda likes flower very much, specially orchids and rosess. So she preserved some of her memories in this painting by incorporating dried rose and orquid petals from her garden. She also included dries flowers that she brought from South Carolina during her last visit to Ednaliz Rodriguez.

Bio Yolanda Barreto, is a self-taught visual artist who loves creating in her studio and outdoors. She exposes herself via different forms of art on a daily bases. Art is a way of interpreting her environment. She creates series and works with the following medias: acrylic, charcoal, mixed media, oil, pencil and watercolor. She also does sculptures and carves. She belongs to several art organizations and has won best of show, artist of the month among other awards.
